I will spend my year in Ukraine as an intern at New Life Church, assisting primarily with worship and young adult ministries. I will be under the leadership and mentoring of Oleg Magdych, the head youth pastor, and Joel Brown, an American pastor who has been serving at New Life Church for the past five years. New Life Church worship services are viewable in live streaming online here.
Unfortunately, Ukraine is seven hours ahead of the East Coast so the Sunday morning services are viewable at 2:00 AM and 4:00 AM EST. The Wednesday night service is viewable at 11:30 AM EST. The online broadcasts do not currently have translation available. Those present in the congregation do have translation into English via talented translators and radio headsets!

I will be playing guitar with these worship teams during my time in Ukraine. I will also spend my first two months as the musical director for the young adult service that meets Saturday evenings while the regular leader is out of the country.
